The person per planet index, shortened PPPI, is an index, measuring how many billions of people a civilization has divded by their planet count; therefore, it is a population density measurement. For instance, a civilization with 20 billion people and 4 planets has a PPPI of 5.0, as in 5 billion per every planet is has. The Capita Council introduced it on November 12, 2011, and it has since become a popular term in politics.
