Over Kortorisa IV
The Battle over Kortorisa IV was the first battle in the Kortorisan-TEC war that Yulairian Civilization forces and Kortorisan forces worked together. Its outcome was a very decisive allied victory, against the Techians' heavy losses.
Beforehand, the Radiant jumped to Kortorisa IV on diplomatic terms. A TEC fleet, meanwhile, exited hyperspace over the planet and began battling with Kortorisan forces. The Radiant asked if they needed assistance, but was told to stay at its position until further notice.
The first waveEdit
The Radiant had stayed at its position nearly 3 minutes and was then asked to assist the frigates in orbit. The ship was launched, then made a very quick turnaround and started towards the battle, weapons charged. By the time the Radiant had gotten in orbit, both sides had already engaged each other. The Radiant soon launched A-22 Starfighters to engage the Cobalts. The A-22s used an experimental gas that caused the frigate's weapons to backfire. Due to this not being announced to Kortorisan forces, several Kortorisian Pilot's cockpits fogged up and they had crashed into the Cobalts, conveniently. The defense had held, until reinforcements arrived.
The second waveEdit
Once TEC reinforcements arrived, it became much harder for the joined forces to hold the fleet off. Soon, Yulairian Dominator-class Star Destroyers jumped into the system to help. Once they arrived, it was all too easy to push the enemy fleet back.
The third and final waveEdit
Once most of the other Cobalts and other TEC ships were destroyed, more exited hyperspace to assist the ones already there. Wolf had called in a Titan-Class Super Star Destroyer to assist. The joined forces were forced to hold the TEC off until it arrived. Once it did, the enemy fleet was obliterated, and Kortorisa IV secured.
After the battleEdit
After the battle, Wolf and Kortoris Phane discussed an alliance, which, ironically, was the reason Wolf had come in the first place. Soon after the discussions an alliance was established.
