The BDSCOM Spacedock is an immobile orbital docking station over BlyDonia Prime. Construction began eight months ago over Shur, in the hopes for a permanent station for which to dock. The Commander of BDSCOM, Admiral Nonsequitor, is in charge of the spacedock.
The Spacedock was created over Shur. After its completion at the start of May 2011, preparations were made to bring it to orbit over BlyDonia Prime, or Prime as it is commonly referred to.
Spacedock was created to house about a thousand various smaller 100m ships, as well as a complement of many 1km or greater ships. The Spacedock has the capabilities to house the Excalibur.
The Spacedock has many specific features aboard it.
Spacedock DoorEditThe main starship door to enter spacedock is three kilometers wide, and two kilometers tall. It was created this way so that large ships could enter and exit with ease. There is only one door of this size, as the other doors on the station are smaller.
Main Mooring CenterEditThe interior of the Spacedock is large and vast. It extends down for 75 km, decreasing in radius as it is a conical shape. Running from the base of the spacedock, at the very bottom, to the top, is a one km wide building spire, with several mooring docks for the larger ships. The massive ships, such as the Excalibur, dock along the side, where it is easier to maneuver out of.
The Control Room in the Spacedock is about 65 km up, leveling the entrance to the Spacedock. It is filled with computers, including the computer to engage the spacedock doors.
