Meanwhile, Wolf and Naga walked up the Nurian Grand Bank's stairway to the main enterence. Wolf calmly walked up to a clerk and told him of their quest to find the Holy Grai--Er...Wait. No. To get into Wolf's safety deposit. The person told them to wait in a waiting area. In the middle of the large bank's lobbey was two couches, facing each other, and a table in between. Small sections like this were placed throughout the large hallway that made up the bank. Barely a minute later, a fat, older guy much resembling Watto as a human walked up and sat down on the opposite couch. He looked at Wolf curiously. The older man rubbed his chin as he looked over Wolf, obviously thinking about something important. He narrowed his eyes and muttered out "Wolf? Is that you?" he asked in his hoarse voice. Naga glared at the older man as if he were ready to strike. Wolf instantly recognized the voice. "Julu?" he responded. "Hey. It's good to see you." Wolf continued.
"You too. What brings yeh to this part o' the galaxy?" Julu said, barely a pause between sentences.
"JUst getting some things." Wolf replied.
"For such a high-end bank, they sure are slow." Julu chuckled. Julu looked over to Naga and shifted uncomfortably. "So... Uh. Who's yer friend here?" he asked.
"Naga. Naga Krion." Wolf responded promptly.
Julu made an odd face, scrunching his lower lip and squiting his eyes. "Haven't heard of him." he said, shifting again.
"Drakonia?" Wolf hinted, trying to help Julu think of who he was. Wolf was obviously getting nervous, worrying about whether Naga would attack Julu or not.
"What?" Julu said, as if he had never heard of Drakonia.
"Drakonia. He...rules Drakonia." Wolf said, dumbfounded by Julu's apparent lack of Appearance knowledge.
"You mean that ice cream company?" Julu asked.
Naga, though he already was silent, fell silent at this comment. Which was more of a question than a comment. Everyone stared at each other for a short moment.
"I'm just kiddin' ya." Julu chuckled. "I know Drakonia. Yeah, yeah..." He continued, reflecting on the Empire.
Wolf quietly sighed with relief.
"You know, I think I saw yer ex the other day in one of the streets." Julu said, turning to Wolf.
"Really? No...can't be." Wolf relpied.
"Ex...?" Naga asked. Wolf never responded.
"She's at least 30 years away" Wolf replied, argumentatively.
"Yeah. It was her. What's the gal's name? Aer-May, or somethin'?" Julu said.
"No. It can't be." Wolf aruged.
"Why's that?" Julu asked, not paying attention to what Wolf just said.
"She's several galaxies away. It'd take her at least 30 years to get here. Even with an advanced hyperdrive." Wolf continued. Naga interupted before Julu could say anything.
"Who's this Aer-May?" he asked.
"Well...she's actually my wife. More or less..." Wolf began. "See, a while ago, before you ever met me, I had to go on a mission...to save a planet from being destroyed. It got complicated, and I needed an alias with a wife. So, I searched in the databanks to find a good match for me, and I did." Wolf went on with his story. "However..I failed the mission... We were together for a month, and.... At a ball...thingy... Where supreme leaders were, things went sideways, and I was forced to leave. I begged Aer-May to come with me, but she just didn't want to." Wolf continued. He looked down, reflecting on what happened. "I remember standing on the boarding ramp of the Radiant... 'You betrayed me' she said...'you made me think you were someone you weren't'... I can't blame her." He went on.
"Maybe you should have gotten to known her better." Naga interjected.
"For so long I felt bad about leaving. Honestly, I should have stayed. No matter what the charges were... But I ran." Wolf quietly said to himself.
"Bwha-hah-hah-hah!" was heard from Julu's couch. "That's a good story you got there, Wolf." he chuckled. "So, really, how's she doing?" Julu asked.
"She's in another galaxy, Julu. I'm telling you. I doubt I'll see her again." Wolf said.
Julu frowned. "If she is nearby, maybe you should talk to her. Perhaps you can convince her to "un-leave" you?" Naga suggested.
"No.." Wolf sighed. "Actually. Remember that "ninja" from before...on the Radiant?" he asked.
"Yes." Naga replied.
"That was her....she's gone now...sadly." Wolf quietly said.
"The Radiant, you said?" Julu asked. "I heard some "forces" were looking for it. Hope you found a good safe house for it, Wolf" he said, shortly before laughing mischeviously.
A clerk soon came out and called for Julu. "Eh? Gotta go." Julu mumbled before getting up and walking off.
"He is an....'interesting' character." Naga pecuriarily said. Wolf didn't say anything, due to a clerk almost immediately calling for Wolf. Naga and Wolf followd the clerk into a vault, where said clerk opened Wolf's safety deposit box. Inside the safety deposit box were small, decorative boxes with convienient hanldes on them.
"Naga? Wanna help me carry these back to the Radiant?" Wolf asked as he went to get a box.
"Sure." Naga replied.
"The...Radiant?" The clerk asked nervously.
"Yes, why?" Wolf said quickly.
"Just a...nice name." The clerk replied nervously.
Naga looked around suspiciously, and then grabbed a few boxes.
Wolf managed to get 2 boxes in his mouth, though it was hard. "Buhm...if bift hurd do cawy in mouf." He managed to utter out wit the boxes in his mouth, trying to hint at Naga to take one more. Soon after, Wolf began walking out with the clerk and Naga in tow. They went through the main doorway, and Wolf placed the boxes on a automated dolley/trolley thing. Naga did as well.
"Alright. To the Radiant." Wolf said as he looked at the air taxi.
"I wouldn't worry about what Julu said." Wolf said, comfortingly to Naga. "He likes to joke like that." He continued.
Wolf climbed into the air taxi with Naga, and the trolley thing strapped to the back of it and secured the boxes. Wolf told the driver where to go, and he took off. Wolf commed the Radiant and told them they had one more stop, and that he'd beam the cargo onboard.
"I have an old artifact hidden in one of the apartments. I think we'll need it." Wolf said, after telling the driver where to go.
"I thought it was your ex's house." Naga said, somewhat mockingly.
"No." Wolf quickly replied. "Me and Julu had a shipping business a while ago...that's where I found it." Wolf continued. The air taxi soon landed next to a platform, and Wolf and Naga got out.
"It's somewhat abandoned" Wolf said as he walked through the doorway of the apartment complex. Wolf walked into an elevator and pressed the "up" button. The elevator climbed upwards.
"Alright..." Wolf sighed.
The elevator stopped, and the door opened. Wolf walked out into a hallway, and went into a room. The small apartment was a mess, with things tossed over and thrown across the floor.
"When I say somewhat, I mean, completely" He continued.
Wolf walked into a closet and pulled a floorboard up. Inside was a small device, resembling a hologram projector but it was white with gold detailing. Wolf took it and walked out of the closet. He went to a window, and didn't see the Radiant where he should have seen it.
"...Naga?" Wolf stuttered out.
"Yes?" Naga calmly replied.
"There's...No Radiant." Wolf nervously whisperered
Naga was quick to seize the moment to swear. He took out large automatic pistol sand began loading it.
"A safe house? What did Julu mean by that?" Wolf frantically queried.
"Comm them." Naga ordered.
Wolf did so, but there was no reply.
"Okay...um..." Wolf said, trying to think of what to do.
"Perhaps this 'Aer May' can help us."
"Again. 30 years away." Wolf pointed out, wondering why everyone thought she was just next door.
"Okay, if you say so." Naga replied.
Soon, armored guards were heard outside. Naga again swore.
"Yeah..." Wolf said, somewhat agreeing. "I should listen to Julu more often." Woilf consideringly sighed.
"Go human. You won't be as recognizable." Naga quickly said as he pulled back the bolt on the pistol.
"If they found us here....well...they know we're us..." Wolf said, unsure of how to say what he just did. "Anyhow." he went on, lifting his head up.
"If we run, you'll look norma--" Naga began but was inturupted by the door being kicked down, revealing several heaviy armored guards. They shot much quicker than Naga could, and took out his gun.
"Darn. This sucks." Wolf said in his usual playful manner.
A guard shouted out "You! You're being arrested!"
"Me?" Wolf said, somewhat confusing the guards.
"Yeah. You." The guard said in an angry tone.
"Why?" Wolf queried, playfully.
Naga jumped at them and put a knife to the guard's throat. "If you want your friends to live, you'll drop your guns now." Naga quickly threatened. Wolf began getting dizzy and stumbled over to the couch. No one paid attention, however. The guards were all thrown against the wall. They started to be compressed into the wall, just as Naga was pulled over to where Wolf was. The guards were thrown down the hallway. A key was left where the guards were. It began levitating and swiftly flew through the doorway to the window.
"Tractor beam?" Naga asked.
"I dbout it... Ohh, my head." Wolf said.
By the window was a curtain, which concealed a figure. Naga tried to walk over to the window, but couldn't get very far.
The wind gently blew through the open window, and the curtain moved aside. It revealed a beautiful, releatively young woman wearing a less-decorative 1700s-esque dress which a rich person might wear, also without the hips being made to stick out. The dress had full sleeves which were relatively tight like on a usual shirt, but grew looser at the sleeves. The dress covered to the woman's neck, and a decorative, ruffled shirt underneath covered the rest of her neck. She had long, but somewhat curly gold-ish hair. Wolf was in absolute shock, gazing at her. She smiled slightly and took the shining key.
"A-Aer...May?" Wolf stuttered, dumbfounded.
"Wh-a-What're you...doing...here?" He managed to get out.
"Second chances, and all that." She said in a bitter-sweet tone.
She closed her eyes. "You too." She said quietly.
Wolf was confused, but closed his eyes.
Wolf carefully opened his eyes and saw Aer-May in front of him in a large holding area. He turned around and saw the Radiant. The three were infront of the Radiant's boarding ramp which was lowered.
An officer stumbled down. "W-Wolf? What the heck just--How'd yo--Who's she--what're you doing here?" The officer frantically asked, not knowing what to first.
Wolf was just as dumbfounded as the officer.
Wolf noticed the rose on the cutlass Aer-May had was shining slightly.
Aer-May took note that he was looking at it.
"I don't know. It's just started shining." She said, as she walked up the boarding ramp. Wolf, Tourny, and Naga soon followed, along with the officer.
(After the line, the chat logs were cut off, so it wasn't detailed. Tourny appeared, and...stuff. Go on to later!)
